If you’re looking for food help, you’re welcome at the Centre Wellington Food Bank.

You don’t need a referral — simply call us at 519-787-1401 or visit during our open hours.
We serve individuals and families in Centre Wellington with kindness, respect, and confidentiality.

Income sources & expenses are only for statistical purposes. These do not determine if you are eligible for service. Everyone in need is eligible.

While we do record name/address etc. data is anonymized when it leaves us for statistics. We are committed to protecting your privacy and keeping all information confidential.

What to Expect When You Visit

  1. When you arrive, a friendly volunteer at the desk will greet you and guide you through a quick intake process. This helps us understand your household’s needs and make your visit smooth.

  2. Once registered, you’ll have access to our self-shop area, where you can choose foods and household items that work best for you and your family.

How Often & How Much

  1. Clients may shop with us once per month for a full selection of groceries and household items. This typically supports about a week’s worth of food and essentials.

  2. After each visit, you’ll receive an appointment time for the following month.

  3. If you need to change or cancel, just call 519-787-1401.

What Types of Food are Available

We offer a wide range of nutritious food options, including:

    • Fresh produce, dairy, and eggs

    • Frozen meats and prepared meals made from reclaimed/recovered food

    • Canned and packaged staples (soups, vegetables, pasta, cereals, etc.)

    • Baby items, snacks, and personal-care products (when available)
